Rethinking directions in language teaching and researching

The aim of this conference is to bring together researchers in the fields of linguistics, translation and teaching to share their research achievements, discuss topics of interest and exchange views on various aspects of English language studies.


The list of topics includes but is not limited to:


-technological advances in foreign language teaching and learning,
-language acquisition and learning in a variety of contexts,
-manifestations of linguistic creativity in speech, writing and translation,
-translational problems and solutions of different genres of texts,
-typical and atypical conventions of Academic Discourse,
-synchronic and diachronic analyses of discourse phenomena,
-nuances of communicating through English as a lingua franca (ELF).


While priority will be given to research-based contributions on these themes, other contributions are also welcome.

Abstract submission guidelines:


We invite submissions for paper presentations. All submissions should be made in English. Papers will be allocated 20 minutes plus 10 minutes for questions.

The proposal submission opens on 20 November 2016.
