An interdisciplinary academic conference, promoting intercultural dialogue, addressed to young scholars, including postgraduate and undergraduate students, whose research interests focus on the languages, literatures and cultures of Oriental countries (especially Arabic-speaking countries, Central Asia countries, China, Japan and India).

The conference will explore a wide spectrum of topics ranging from
the ancient civilisations to the present day cultures and languages of this region in all their richness and diversity.
