We have a great pleasure to invite everyone interested in application of mass spectrometric techniques to the 5thConference of Polish Mass Spectrometry Society, which will take place on September 25-29, 2016 in Sobótka near Wrocław (see: Venue). The conference is co-organized by Polish Mass Spectrometry Society and the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Wroclaw. During the Conference we would like to discuss all topics in the field of mass spectrometry (see: Program). The interdisciplinary nature of the conference presents a unique opportunity for the exchange of information and promotes both collaborative and personal relationships amongst its participants. It provides first-hand opportunities to report advancements and innovations in a highly critical and stimulating environment. The conference emphasizes the educational mission and commitment to nurture our students and young professional scientists interested in mass spectrometry. Through opportunities to present research and interact with established scientists, the conference enables the development of new generations of scientists that will share in the mission of our Society and contribute to the advancement of mass spectrometry.

Scientific program of the conference will be realized during plenary and parallel sessions and will cover topics announced later. It will reflect the latest achievements in fundamental and applied mass spectrometry. Lectures, oral communications and posters during the Conference will be in English.

We expect about 120 participants from both academic, industrial, and government research institutions. They will have an opportunity to meet representatives of leading manufacturers of mass spectrometry and chromatographic equipment who will exhibit their products during the conference.
