Celem Konferencji jest prezentacja dorobku kultury oraz politycznych i społecznych problemów świata arabsko-muzułmańskiego, jak też szeroko pojmowanych interakcji tegoż ze światem Zachodu. Konferencja będzie składać się z trzech części. W pierwszej wezmą udział wykładowcy wyższych uczelni, przedstawiciele najważniejszych polskich ośrodków badawczych w zakresie orientalistyki i stosunków międzynarodowych (Łódź, Warszawa, Kraków, Poznań, Gdańsk). Druga część to ogólnopolska konferencja studencka. Przewidywana jest także część o charakterze artystycznym.

The conference’s aim is to present the cultural heritage, as well as political and social problems of the Arab-Muslim world in addition to the broadly understood relations with the West. The conference will be divided into three parts. The lecturers and representatives of the most important Polish Orientalistic and International Relations research centers (from Łódź, Warsaw, Cracow, Poznań and Gdańsk) will take part in the first one. The second part will be the student conference. The conference will end with an artistic performance.
