Since 1964 the Institute of Theoretical Physics of the University of Wroclaw has organized the Winter Schools of Theoretical Physics (the list of previous schools is available at http://www.ift.uni.wroc.pl/symposia/karplist.html). The 47th School "Simple Models for Complex Systems" continues the Winter School series. This time it will be organized jointly by Complex Systems and Nonlinear Dynamics Division, Institute of Theoretical Physics and UNESCO Chair of Interdisciplinary Studies. The School  will be held in Ladek Zdroj, Poland, 7-12 February 2011.
