The Institute of Political Science (Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Wroclaw) would like to invite you to VIII International Student Conference “Politics & Society in Central and Eastern Europe”, which will take place in Wroclaw on May 21, 2015.

The conference is designed to present the research results of international and Polish students, interested in current developments in Central and Eastern European politics and societies. The programme will consist of plenary and panel sessions.


The registration process starts on March 17, 2015 and the deadline for proposals is April 12, 2015. In order to register, please send e-mail (to address michal.kus@uni.wroc.pl) with the following information:

-         participant(s) name(s), title and affiliation

-         the title of presentation

-         short abstract (up to 200 words)

Important deadlines:

March 17, 2015 – the start of the registration process

April 12, 2015 – the end of the registration process

April 15, 2015 – the notification of acceptance + the programme of the conference will be released

May 19, 2015 – deadline for delivery of papers and/or PPT presentations

Important organizational information:

- no participation fee

- the participants have to pay their own travel and hotel expenses

- participants will be awarded certificates confirming presentation of a paper

- e-book containing text of presented papers is planned to be published

- the conference is supported by Academia Europaea, the New Eastern Europe (www.neweasterneurope.eu), Regionalny Ośrodek Debaty Międzynarodowej we Wrocławiu (http://rodm-wroclaw.pl/)  and Koło Młodych Politologów

Detailed information regarding organizational matters will be sent out to the participants after May 5, 2015.
