Serdecznie zapraszamy do udziału w XI Międzynarodowej Konferencji Doktorantów Nauk o Życiu – BioOpen, która odbędzie się stacjonarnie na Wydziale Biologii i Ochrony Środowiska Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego w dniach 14–15 maja 2026 r.

BioOpen to uznana konferencja z wieloletnią tradycją. Nadchodząca edycja będzie jedenastą w historii, a jednocześnie drugą o charakterze międzynarodowym. Konferencja jest skierowana przede wszystkim do doktorantów, ale mile widziani są również magistranci oraz młodzi naukowcy rok po uzyskaniu stopnia doktora. Głównym celem BioOpen jest stworzenie przyjaznej i inspirującej przestrzeni do naukowej dyskusji, nawiązywania owocnych współprac oraz promocja Wydziału BiOŚ i UŁ. Program naukowy zostanie wzbogacony o wykłady plenarne wygłoszone przez zaproszonych gości, a także o liczne stoiska sponsorskie, które stworzą okazję do nawiązania kontaktów poza salą wykładową.

BioOpen to konferencja interdyscyplinarna, która będzie podzielona na następujące sesje tematyczne:
Mikrobiologia, Immunologia i Biotechnologia
Inżynieria Biomedyczna i Medycyna Molekularna
Ekologia i Biologia Środowiska
Biologia Molekularna i Medyczna

Oprócz programu naukowego, konferencja jest również doskonałą okazją do odwiedzenia Łodzi – miasta, które wiosną ożywa dzięki zieleni, parkom i unikalnej architekturze poprzemysłowej.

Rejestracja rozpocznie się 19 stycznia 2026 roku i potrwa do 28 lutego 2026 roku lub do wyczerpania miejsc. Limit uczestników wynosi 130 osób.

Opłata konferencyjna wynosi 400 zł, dla uczestników z afiliacją związaną z Uniwersytetem Łódzkim obowiązuje opłata ulgowa w wysokości 300 zł.

We warmly invite you to take part in the 11th International Doctoral Students’ Conference in Life Sciences - BioOpen, which will be held on site at the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection, University of Lodz, on 14–15 May 2026.

BioOpen is a well-established conference with a long tradition. The upcoming edition will be the eleventh overall and the second to be organized as an international event. The conference is primarily addressed to doctoral students, but master’s students and early-career researchers within one year of completing their PhD are also very welcome to participate.The main aim of BioOpen is to create a friendly and inspiring space for young scientists to present their research results, engage in meaningful scientific discussion, and build new collaborations. The scientific programme will be enriched by plenary lectures delivered by invited guest speakers, as well as by numerous sponsor booths, offering opportunities for networking beyond the lecture hall.

BioOpen is an interdisciplinary conference and will be organized into the following thematic sessions:
Microbiology, Immunology and Biotechnology
Biomedical Engineering and Molecular Medicine
Ecology and Environmental Biology
Molecular and Medical Biology

In addition to the scientific programme, the conference is also a great opportunity to visit Lodz, a city that comes alive in spring with its greenery, parks, and unique post-industrial architecture.

Registration will open on 19 January 2026 and will remain available until 28 February 2026 or until all places are filled.
