An interdisciplinary academic conference promoting intercultural dialogue, addressed to young scholars, including postgraduate and graduate students,  whose research focuses on the languages, literatures and cultures of Oriental countries, especially Arabic-speaking countries, Central Asian countries, China, Japan and India.

The conference will explore a broad spectrum of topics ranging from ancient civilizations to these regions' present-day cultures and languages in all their richness and diversity.
