The International Conference for Young Researchers is organized annually by the PhD Student Council of the University of Agriculture in Krakow since 2012. PhD students and young scientists from universities, in Poland and across the world participate in the conference each year. It started as a national conference, however with time it grew and became, international. From 2017 the thematic scope of the conference also increases as well as multidirectional research in agriculture and forestry, it is also possible to present the research on broadly defined technology.

The main aim of the conference is to exchange experiences and present ideas of young researchers. It is also an excellent opportunity for international discussion — both with young scientists and invited guests. The Conference is an opportunity for development for young speakers, it also contributes to the progress of science.

The conference consists of 8 panel discussions. These are:

  • Animal Science,
  • Agricultural economics, agritourism and management,
  • Agriculture,
  • Land surveying, cartography, geodesy, land development, landscape architecture,
  • Forest science,
  • Food technology,
  • Environmental protection and development,
  • Horticulture,

The individual panels are divided into several sub-categories, so all scientists will find their field during the conference.

An additional advantage of the International Conference for Young Researchers is the fact that it takes place in Krakow — one of the most famous and beautiful Polish cities. During the two days, scientists and guests will have an opportunity to experience local traditions and explore the city.
