Sumy

May 5-6, 2017 at Sumy State University, at the Economic Theory Department, I International Scientific and Practical Conference "International Economic Relations and Sustainable Development" was held.

An urgent theme in the modern world caught interest of students, leading scientists and practitioners from many countries.
The most foreign participants - seven students and the director of an international consulting company came to Sumy State University from Poland. Famous professors from Armenia, scientists and practitioners from Great Britain, Israel and Kazakhstan, students from Afghanistan, Nigeria and India presented their countries.
The Ukrainian scientific community was represented by leaders and representatives of scientific institutions, professors, young scientists, post-graduate students and students from Kiev, Odessa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkov and Poltava. Odessa was the leader among other cities-participants. Eight famous scientists and students presented that city.
The scientific schools of Sumy universities were well represented. Materials of students, scientists and professors from universities in Iraq, France, Bulgaria and Belarus were also received to be published.
The conference, dedicated to the memory of Professor Oleh Balatsky, was opened with a welcoming speech by the Vice-Rector for scientific work of Sumy State University Anatoliy Chornous, Director of ASI FEM Tatyana Vasylyeva, Honorary Guest Lyudmila Balatskaya and Head of the Conference - Head of the Economic Theory Department, Professor of University of Bielsko-Biala (Poland) Olha Prokopenko.
The guests of the conference were amazed at the depth of the scientific discussion that took place during the plenary and three sectional meetings. Svetlana Bondarenko was the leader in the number of questions. She found answers to a number of questions, given by leading scientists and practitioners from Great Britain, Armenia, Poland and Ukraine, at the Saturday section session. There was an interesting round-table discussion, where participants found out about examples of practical business projects for sustainable development implemented at the global level, as well as about possibilities of the Horizon 2020 program to support international projects.
At the seminar, which took place outdoors near Sumy State University Lake, participants of the conference got acquainted with the pedagogical innovations of the Economic Theory Department and Pedagogy Stimulation Methods in SSU. After the seminar they took part in two imitation business games.
The innovative approach to the conference provided an opportunity to stir up the emotional intelligence of the participants, came back to their countries and cities with new ideas in science, business and pedagogy.
Evening video congress, combined with dinner, excursions around the university and city, as well as the enchanting fire show will not allow you to forget the conference next year.
